Upload all required application materials through the Graduate Application Portal. Required materials vary by program, so review your program's specific admission requirements before submitting your application.

Transcripts

Upload copies of transcripts from all previous post-secondary institutions attended through the application form.

If admitted, you will need to request official transcripts be sent directly to the UNH Graduate School from the institution(s) you attended.

Current UNH undergraduate students and students who previously attended UNH or Granite State College (GSC) do not need to upload transcripts; the Graduate School will retrieve them on your behalf.

Letters of Recommendation

Provide your recommenders' names and email addresses in the application form. After you submit your application, your recommenders will receive an email from the Graduate School with instructions and a link to complete the recommendation form.

You can send reminders to recommenders through your application portal or update recommenders by selecting Change Recommender within the portal or contacting the Graduate School.

Test Scores

Some graduate programs require standardized test scores as part of the application process. Review your program's admission requirements to determine whether test scores are required for you.

If required, official scores must be sent directly to the UNH Graduate School from the testing service before your application can be reviewed.

Required exams may include:

  • GRE
  • GMAT
  • PRAXIS or other program-specific exams

English Language Proficiency Requirements

International applicants whose native language is not English may be required to demonstrate proficiency by submitting official scores from an approved test.

Accepted exams include TOEFL, IELTS, and the Duolingo English Test. Minimum score requirements vary by program.

Applicants who do not meet English proficiency requirements may be eligible for a Graduate Bridge Program.
