The estimates below show the annual cost of attending UNH's Manchester campus as a full-time undergraduate student. Direct costs include tuition, mandatory fees, housing, and a standard meal plan. Additional educational and personal expenses may also apply. Detailed rates for each cost category are provided below.

Mandatory fees
Mandatory fees are charged to all UNH Manchester students enrolled in 5 or more credit hours. The technology fee is listed separately and charged to all students, including those registered for fewer than 5 credits — $58.50/$117.00 (5–11 credits) or $29.25/$58.50 (0–4 credits); full mandatory fees still apply at 5+ credits. The Registration Fee is non-refundable and assessed once per semester. The Security Fee entitles students to a parking permit usable in Lot A on the Durham campus. The services and facilities supported by mandatory fees are available to all students and are not charged based on the extent of individual usage.
Students who withdraw or drop to part-time after classes begin may be eligible for a full or partial refund of fees based on the date of withdrawal or drop to part-time status — see Withdrawal from the University or Change to Part-Time Status for more information.

Information on Fees
Student Activity Fee
Overseen and collected by the Student Senate through the Student Activity Fee Committee (SAFC), provides support for the following organizations and services:
- The New Hampshire (student newspaper)
- WUNH (student radio station)

Health & Wellness
Health & Wellness provides comprehensive, student-focused, primary medical care, laboratory testing, radiology, and pharmacy services. During the regular academic year, the clinical staff consist of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants who have experience working with adolescents and young adults and are committed to prevention and holistic care. The Office of Living Well Services presents educational workshops, offers support groups, and facilitates ongoing educational groups on a variety of physical and emotional health issues. The SHARPP Center
The SHARPP Center's direct services include a 24-hour telephone helpline, online web chat and text services, crisis counseling, accompaniment to hospitals, information and advocacy related to the criminal justice and University judicial systems/Title IX, as well as academic interventions. In addition, SHARPP's prevention programs and trainings provide education for students, faculty, and staff on topics related to consent, healthy relationships, rape culture, bystander intervention, IPV, and more. Prevention programs are facilitated by trained violence prevention educators and student community educators. Trainings are delivered to students in a wide variety of settings (residential halls, academic classrooms, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Athletics, Student Organizations, etc.). Psychology and Counseling Services
Psychology and Counseling Services is a campus resource whose services are designed to enhance students' ability to fully benefit from the University environment and academic experience. Services include counseling and therapy for students who may be experiencing situational or ongoing psychological difficulties, providing programming to meet the developmental needs of the student population, and encouraging a University atmosphere conducive to personal and intellectual growth and psychological well-being. The Memorial Union Building
The Memorial Union Building (MUB) provides opportunities for student involvement and offers space for programs, meetings, and study, as well as for major public events, movies, and other entertainment. A complete listing of programs, services, and events can be found on the MUB website.
Student Recreation
Campus Recreation provides programs and facilities to support an active lifestyle. Programs include Group Exercise, Intramural Sports, Aquatics, Outdoor Adventures, Instructional Programs and Sports Clubs. Facilities include Hamel Recreation Center (HRC), Swasey Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool, Tennis Courts and other outdoor fields. Check out campusrec.unh.edu for more information.
Whittemore Center
The Whittemore Center is a multi-purpose arena located on the UNH Durham campus. The arena is home to the UNH Wildcats Hockey and is used for programming such as open ice times as well. The University dedicated the arena to Frederick B. Whittemore and his family on May 5, 1996, in recognition of their long history of service to the state of New Hampshire and the University. Whittemore's father, Laurence Whittemore, served as a trustee of the University System of New Hampshire from 1944 to 1960, and president of the board from 1954 to 1960. A visionary and philanthropist, Frederick Whittemore is a founding director of the UNH Foundation. The Whittemore Family Foundation's generous contribution to this facility exemplifies the family's ongoing commitment to education through support for academic programs and student life.

Career and Professional Success
UNH is investing in Career and Professional Success to prepare students for successful lives after graduation. Services include internships, career advising and resources, assessments, employer relations, interview preparation, and mentoring. Cat's Cache
Cat's Cache is an optional declining balance account used for meals, vending machines, laundry, bookstore, MUB, and many downtown Durham businesses. The account carries forward from semester to semester.
New Admit Fee
New students pay a one time fee of $400 that supports first-year experience, transfer programming and other initiatives that help new students transition to the University.
Food & housing rates
UNH Manchester housing is provided through a partnership with Southern New Hampshire University at SNHU's Hampton Hall (2500 North River Road, Manchester, NH 03106). Suite-style rooms include two singles, two doubles, a shared bathroom, and a common living area. Students must be full-time (12+ credits) to be eligible; offers are made on a space-available basis.
Because SNHU's and UNH Manchester's academic calendars end on different dates, residents who stay on the SNHU campus after UNH Manchester's semester ends pay $25/day for meals during that gap.
